Liz has been crafting all her life. She is almost 19 and is in college. I am just so very proud of her. Her aunt and I both have craft blogs and she wanted in on the fun!!! Good luck Liz!!!

The Burtonesque Dolls Sketch Challenge
This week I am turning things over to my lovely daughter Liz. She created this card for The Burtonesque Dolls sketch challenge. The sketch is on their blog. This is her very first attempt at entering a challenge and I think she did a SUPER job!!! Here is her entry:

FLUTTER BY WEDNESDAY #128
Hi everyone. I am entering this card in the Flutterby Wednesday challenge #128. We were supposed to use purple, black & orange with either a butterfly, fairy or angle. Here you go:
I used just leftover scraps and a couple of flower punches to create this. I added a touch glitter with some Gelly Roll pens. The little fairy image is another one I found in my sister's craft room. I love sleeping babies...winged or wingless! I hope you like it. Thanks for visiting.

FLUTTERBY WEDNESDAY #127
Here is my entry for the Flutterby Wednesday anything goes challenge. We could create whatever we wanted as long as it had a butterfly, fairy or angel on it somewhere.
I was having scanner issues so I had to take the picture with my daughter's phone. It seems a bit blurry to me. This little cutie is going to a coworker who just had a newborn. I used a stamp I found buried in my sister's craft studio (a person could get lost in there). I colored it with Whisper Stroke markers and Gelly Roll pens. The decorative punch is from Fiskars. I had a great time working on this. I think I am really getting the hang of crafting and look foward to doing more.
Thanks for stopping by.

I'M BACK!!!
I had soooooooooooo much fun with my first post that I had to do another. Isn't this guy just the cutest??? I always did like my men skinny. I hope this brings as smile to your face. xoxoxox
MY FIRST POST EVER...MY FIRST CHALLENGE EVER!!!
This if for The Burtonesque Dolls challenge #20. We had to use this sketch for the challenge and channel Edward Scissorhands.
Let me just say that this was hard for me as I am NOT a crafter...but I hope to become one. Reading about the supernatural is what I love to do. Crafting is what I am learning to love to do. My sister made me the Edward image and I colored it in. I thought that was just as good as a rubber stamp since she just made me a line drawing.
I used some scrap papers I had from last year when I started trying to craft. I took a long break and now I am back. I was glad to have a layout to follow since I am just a beginner...did I mention I am not yet a crafter (lol)?
I heat embossed some little silver starburst to give it a little something extra. I hope you like it! Please be kind with your comments. I feel like such a child compared to the other work I have seen online. Some of you ladies are AMAZING!
